The Sportsbet AI Assistant is governed by these Terms and Conditions (‘SB AI Assistant Terms and Conditions’) and the Sportsbet Rules, Terms & Conditions (‘the Rules’) found here: Sportsbet Rules, Terms & Conditions – Sportsbet Help Centre

These Rules were last updated on the 29/04/25 and the updates take effect from that date.

1. You may only use the Sportsbet AI Assistant if you have a current Account which has been verified, operated and used in accordance with the Rules.
2.  If you use the Sportsbet AI Assistant you agree to these SB AI Assistant Terms and Conditions, and any use of the Sportsbet AI Assistant by you constitutes acceptance of these SB AI Assistant Terms and Conditions.
3. Capitalized terms used in these SB AI Assistant Terms and Conditions have the meaning given to them in the Rules unless otherwise defined.
4. All personal information in connection with the Sportsbet AI Assistant will be handled by Sportsbet in accordance with the Rules and Sportsbet’s Privacy Policy.
5. Sportsbet AI Assistant allows members to access and ask questions to an artificial intelligence (AI) tool in relation to eligible racing events. Any questions posed to Sportsbet AI Assistant must relate to eligible racing events.
6. A member is under no obligation to use Sportsbet AI Assistant. A member has no obligation to place a bet based on a response provided by Sportsbet AI Assistant.
7. In using Sportsbet AI Assistant, a member will be using an AI tool that has limitations (there is no human interaction). You should not rely on any information produced by Sportsbet AI Assistant. You must independently verify all information before making a betting decision.
8. Sportsbet AI Assistant has been developed for entertainment purposes only.
9. While Sportsbet AI Assistant aims to provide accurate and reliable information, Sportsbet is not responsible for:
   1.  ensuring, nor does it guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information provided by Sportsbet AI Assistant (even if you inform us of inaccuracies); and
   2. the content or result of any bet and it does not make any representations regarding any bets a member places because of a response provided by Sportsbet AI Assistant
10. To the extent permitted by law, Sportsbet excludes all warranties (express or implied) relating to or arising out of a member’s use of Sportsbet AI Assistant and excludes any liability for direct, indirect or consequential loss, damage, expense or injury suffered by any Member arising out of use of Sportsbet AI Assistant by a member.
11. Nothing in these Rules affects our liability for our fraudulent misrepresentation or for any matter in respect of which our liability cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including the Australian Consumer Law).
12. We have imposed limits on the number of questions you may ask Sportsbet AI Assistant in a chat session. This limit may change from time to time (at Sportsbet’s discretion).
13. Sportsbet may restrict access to or cease to offer Sportsbet AI Assistant (either temporarily or permanently) at its ultimate discretion and without prior notice.
14. While Sportsbet may prohibit certain key words and use automated blocking and filtering processes, Sportsbet does not review, approve or control the content of any questions posted by a member to Sportsbet AI Assistant. Further, we do not review, approve or control the content produced by Sportsbet AI Assistant in response to a question posed by a member.
15. Sportsbet intends for the use of Sportsbet AI Assistant to be a positive experience for everyone involved. When accessing Sportsbet AI Assistant, members must not:
    1. 1.  use prompts that involve (or that a reasonable person would perceive as involving):
          - a breach of any laws
          - compromising critical infrastructure
          - fraudulent, illegal, violent, predatory or unsocial conduct
          - the unauthorized or unlicensed practice of any profession
          - any defamatory imputation
          - infringement of another person’s rights
          - the dissemination of false or misleading information
          - compromising children’s safety
          - compromising a person’s identity
          - impersonating others
          - violation of another person’s rights
          - violation of another person’s privacy rights, including by disclosing or threatening to disclose personal or sensitive information
          - a violation of another person’s confidential information or intellectual property rights
          - spreading misinformation
          - threats, intimidation, harassment or any kind of bullying
          - creating psychologically or emotionally harmful content
          - profanities, including misspellings or other representations of profanities
          - discriminatory or other offensive topics, including comments on matters such as race, ethnicity, age, religion, gender or disability
          - creating sexually explicit content
          - malicious code, malware, computer viruses (or do anything else that could disable, overburden, interfere with or impair the proper working, integrity, operation or appearance of the Sportsbet website, app or this Sportsbet AI Assistant
          - spam / deliberate duplicate messaging or fake online engagement
          - encouragement of irresponsible gambling or other irresponsible behaviour
          - content that does not relate to the purpose or subject matter of Sportsbet AI Assistant
       2. copy or further distribute answers received from Sportsbet AI Assistant;
16. Sportsbet reserve the right to (at its absolute discretion and without reference to a member):
    1. prohibit certain words from being accepted by Sportsbet AI Assistant;
    2.  take any action in relation to questions asked by a member (without notice to that member) including:
       - editing a question before it is answered by Sportsbet AI Assistant
       - preventing a question from being answered by Sportsbet AI Assistant
       - blocking a question from being answered by Sportsbet AI Assistant
       - blocking particular words or phrases from a question, preventing it from being answered by Sportsbet AI Assistant,
       
       in the event a question is deemed inappropriate by Sportsbet (for whatever reason).
    3. use automated blocking and filtering processes to enable action taken pursuant to these terms and conditions (including for the purpose of identifying conduct in breach of clause 16).
17. Sportsbet reserves the right (at its absolute discretion) to take any action regarding a member’s access to Sportsbet AI Assistant or their account in response to their conduct on Sportsbet AI Assistant, including:
    1. contacting the member to discuss concerns with their interactions
    2.  issuing a warning to the member in relation to their conduct and actions that may be taken if the behaviour continues
    3. placing limits on or otherwise restricting the member’s access to Sportsbet AI Assistant (either temporarily or permanently)
    4. preventing the member from using Sportsbet AI Assistant (either temporarily or permanently)
    5. suspending the member’s access to their account
    6. permanently closing the member’s account.
18. Sportsbet may take the actions contemplated in clauses 16 and 17 without notice to the member and is not required to explain its actions.
19. To the extent that any intellectual property rights subsist in Sportsbet AI Assistant content, you acknowledge that such intellectual property rights is assigned to Sportsbet by you immediately upon creation and that, for the avoidance of doubt, Sportsbet will own all Sportsbet AI Assistant content.
20. Sportsbet reserves the right to undertake a Responsible Gambling review in response to a member’s interactions with Sportsbet AI Assistant and to take appropriate responsive action (depending on the applicable circumstances).
21. Any dispute which may arise in relation to a member’s use of the Sportsbet AI Assistant will be handled in accordance with the Rules.
