Product & Features Terms and Conditions

These Product & Features Terms and Conditions were last updated on the 1 September 2020 and the updates take effect from that date.

These rules (the ‘Product & Features Terms and Conditions’) are incorporated into and form part of the Sportsbet Rules, Terms & Conditions: https://helpcentre.sportsbet.com.au/hc/en-us/articles/115004802547-Sportsbet-Rules-Terms-Conditions.

1.2. The Price will be available for you to view when you are logged into your Account in the ‘My Bets’ section.

1.3. Sportsbet may choose to accept or deny your Request in its absolute discretion and without providing a reason or advance notification.  In deciding whether or not to accept a Request by you to Cash Out, Sportsbet will have regard to a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the occurrence or non-occurrence of any event or events in respect of which the bet was originally made and which may have already been completed.

1.4. If the original bet that a Request relates to was placed after the beginning of the relevant event (ie "in the run" or "live"), Sportsbet will not accept a Request over the Internet and will only accept or deny a Request via the telephone. In all other cases, Sportsbet may accept or deny a Request in respect of the bet over the Internet or via the telephone.

1.5.
If Sportsbet accepts your Request:
a. your original bet will immediately come to an end (will be 'Cashed Out'). Sportsbet will be deemed to have accepted your Request:
i. if you have made the request via the Internet, once a "betting receipt number" is issued through the Website; or
ii. if you have made the request via the telephone by calling 13 BETS, once you either indicate your agreement with the confirmation of Sportsbet's acceptance of your Request as read-back to you by the Sportsbet representative or, if you do not disagree with that confirmation, when the confirmation is read-back to you before the telephone call ends;
iii. if you made the Request during a live event over the telephone using Cash Out Live ('COL'), once Sportsbet confirms over the telephone that the bet has been Cashed Out

1.6.
The acceptance by Sportsbet of a Request is an agreement between Sportsbet and you to end the original bet early and for Sportsbet to pay you the Price in respect of the occurrence or non-occurrence of any event or events in respect of which the bet was originally made and which may have already been completed. The acceptance by Sportsbet of a Request does not constitute the entry into a new bet.

1.7. Sportsbet is not liable for any loss you may incur in connection with your use of the Cash Out feature or Sportsbet accepting or denying your Request (including any loss incurred due to a delay in Sportsbet accepting or denying your Request).

1.8. Sportsbet may, in its absolute discretion, change, suspend, restrict or cease to offer the Cash Out feature at any time and without providing a reason or advance notification, even where the Cash Out feature has previously been advertised to you as being available at a particular time or in connection with a particular event.  Sportsbet is not liable for any losses incurred by you in connection with such an action being taken (including any losses which arise in connection with promotional material, messaging or social media updates being on display after the time at which such action occurs).

1.9. Any decision of Sportsbet in respect of a result, settlement, a market or the Cash Out feature is final and binding on the parties.

1.10. Sportsbet may:

1.10.1. void the original bet which was Cashed Out;

1.10.2. decline to Cash Out your bet; and/or

1.10.4. Sportsbet suspects fraud or other improprieties in respect of the original bet or your Request;

1.10.5. the original bet or your Request was made on or after you becoming aware of the outcome of the relevant event(s); or

1.10.6. Sportsbet otherwise has the rights to void the original bet or require repayment under the Rules.

1.11. Any bet in respect of which the Cash Out feature is used will not count towards any turnover requirement in respect of winnings from a Bonus Bet (refer to the Bous Bet Terms: https://helpcentre.sportsbet.com.au/hc/en-us/articles/115004800447.)
1.12. The Cash Out feature is not available on bets where a Bonus Bet has been used.

1.13. The Cash Out feature is not available for a MultiBet unless each individual leg or event within that MultiBet if eligible for Cash Out

1.14. In the event a telephone conversation between a Sportsbet representative and you in which a Request is being made is interrupted for any reason (including a mobile phone dropping out) prior to the conclusion of the conversation, any unconfirmed Request will be deemed not to have been accepted. In such circumstances, it is your responsibility to contact Sportsbet promptly to confirm the Request you wish to make.

1.15. Sportsbet will make a recording of all telephone calls with you when you are making a Request and such recordings may be made available, used and will be retained in accordance with the Rules.

1.16. All Requests are considered to be placed and received in the NT, Australia.  Sportsbet does not represent or warrant that any Request made by you on your Account or the acceptance by Sportsbet of a Request complies with the legal requirements of any state or country other than the NT.  You must satisfy yourself of (and assume full responsibility for) the legality of making a Request.

2.6. The price available to you when you apply your Power Play ('powered price') will be at Sportsbet's absolute discretion.

2.7. If the Power Play feature is available for your bet selection, you will see the Power Play button when you access your Bet Slip. You will need to select Power Play to see the powered price. You must select Power Play to proceed with the bet if you wish to place your bet at the powered price ('Power Play bet'). You will only be able to see the powered price if you have a Power Play available.

2.8. Your Power Play will be considered to have been used and will not be available for any other bets that day if:

4. MultiBet Rules

4.1 A MultiBet (also known as a Multiple Bet, Parlay, or All Up) is where a Member can select more than one event or competitors in sporting and racing events. For a combination sport/racing MultiBet, the MultiBet must have a minimum of one sporting event included. Each of the odds are multiplied to increase the total dividend.

For Example:

- Selection 1: AFL H2H at $3.30
- Selection 2: NRL H2H at $5
- Selection 3: A golfer in the Masters to win at $6.30
- Selection 4: Horse to win the Melbourne Cup at $4.40,
- Total dividend: would be $457.38 ($3.30 x $5.00 x $6.30 x $4.40)
- A wager of $20 placed on this four leg MultiBet would return $9147.60 including the initial stake.

4.2 Should one runner be scratched or per the individual sporting event rules referring to cancellation or postponement, MultiBets may be recalculated excluding that event or leg and the wager on the remaining selection and the initial stake will stand.

4.3 Except for Same Game MultiBets (see Rule 6 Same Game Mults) Multiple bets are not accepted where the outcome of one part of the bet contributes to the outcome of another ('Related Multibet'.) If such bets are inadvertently accepted, Sportsbet reserves the right to declare the whole MultiBet void and funds will be refunded to the Members Betting Account.

4.4 Maximum payout for a Sport or Sport/Racing Combination MultiBet is AUD$1,000,000.

4.5 Maximum Multi Bet payout limits apply to any one customer or a group of customers who are in Sportsbet's opinion acting together, who have placed bets containing the same selections, including where placed in a series of bets, at a range of prices, over a number of days using different betting accounts and/or across different betting channels. In such cases, the total payout across all bets/channels/accounts will not exceed the maximum payout limit of AUD$1,000,000.

4.6 Should a Member place a subsequent MultiBet that reflects the initial MultiBet and will result in the Member exceeding the $1,000,000 payout maximum, the additional MultiBets will be void and wagers refunded.

4.7 In the event of a dead heat in one or more Multibet legs, standard Dead Heat Rules apply.

5. Same Game Multi Rules

5.1 Same Game MultiBets are MultiBets where the selections relate to the same event. Sportsbet's MultiBet Rules apply in respect of 'Same Game MultiBets', except for:

5.2 Same Game Multibet odds are calculated based on the relatedness of the selections in the bet and not a multiplication of odds for each selection;

5.3 In the event that a Same Game Multi bet is placed where all selections are completely related contingencies, the bet will be paid out at the highest odds of any single selection.

For example:

Liverpool to win $1.40 into Liverpool to win 3-0 $21 will be paid at $21

Patrick Dangerfield to get 30 or more disposals $1.50 into Patrick Dangerfield to get 35 or more disposals $5 will be paid at $5

5.4 In the event one or more selections are voided in a Same Game Multi bet, the bet will be cancelled and stake refunded to the Member;

5.5 Maximum payout for a Sport or Sport/Racing Combination Same Game Multi is AUD $500,000.

5.6 Maximum Multi Bet payout limits apply to any one customer or a group of customers who are in Sportsbet's opinion acting together, who have placed bets containing the same selections, including where placed in a series of bets, at a range of prices, over a number of days using different betting accounts and/or across different betting channels. In such cases, the total payout across all bets/channels/accounts will not exceed the maximum payout limit of AUD$500,000

5.7 Should a Member place a subsequent Same Game MultiBet that reflects the initial Same Game MultiBet and will result in the Member exceeding the $500,000 payout maximum, the additional Same Game MultiBets will be void and wagers refunded.

5.8 Same Game MultiBets cannot be Cashed Out.

5.9 In the event of a dead heat in one or more Same Game Multi legs, standard Dead Heat Rules apply.

6. Megabets

6.1 A Megabet is a promotional market which is offered at Sportsbet’s discretion.

6.2 Megabets are available to eligible customers* only and cannot be placed in a MultiBet, Same Game MultiBet or combined with any other promotion (e.g. ‘PowerPlay’, ‘Fold’ etc.)

6.3 If a Megabet is placed which contradicts Rule 5.2, Sportsbet reserves the right to remedy the situation by either (a) voiding the Megabet leg of the MultiBet or (b) voiding the entire wager, at its sole discretion.

6.4 If a Megabet selection(s) is scratched or an event is abandoned, the Megabet(s) will revert to a Single Bet or a MultiBet and will exclude the scratched/abandoned leg. The price of the Single or the reduced MultiBet will revert to a price based on the Top Tote of the remaining selection(s) for racing, or the highest pre-game price offered by Sportsbet for that sport.

6.5 In the event of a Dead Heat in one or more Megabet legs, standard Dead Heat rules apply.

7. Same Race Multi Rules

7.1. Same Race Multi Bets are Multi Bets where the selections relate to a runner winning, finishing top 2, 3 or 4 in the same event. Sportsbet's Multi Bet Rules apply in respect of 'Same Race MultiBets'.

7.2. Same Race Multi Bets are only available on the following events and at the following times:

- Australian Thoroughbred & Greyhound Racing (excludes NZ), provided there is a minimum of 6 runners in a final field
- Thoroughbred Same Race Multi's are available on race day only from approximately 9:30 AM (post scratching);
- Greyhound Same Race Multi's are available roughly 1 hour before the first race

7.3. In the event that a Same Race Multi bet is placed where all selections are completely related contingencies, the bet will be paid out at the highest odds of any single selection.
For example: Winx to finish top 2 ($2.5) into Winx to finish top 3 ($2) will be paid at $2.5

7.4. Same Race Multibet odds are calculated based on the inter-relation of the selections in the bet and not a simple multiplication of odds for each selection

7.5. In the event one or more selections are scratched in a single Same Race Multi bet, that Same Race Multi bet will be voided and stake refunded to the Member. If that bet has been placed into a Multi containing other Single/s or Same Game Multi/s, the SRM leg in the multi will be voided but the remainder of the multi will stand and odds will be revised to take into account the voided leg

7.6. In the event a field is reduced to five or less runners, any Same Race Multi Bets struck prior to the reduction in field size will stand

7.7. Maximum Odds & Payouts:

- Maximum Odds for a Same Racing Multi is 10,001
- Maximum payout for a Same Race Multi is AUD $50,000 for Thoroughbreds and $25,000 for Greyhounds.
- Maximum Multi Bet payout limits apply to any one customer or a group of customers who are in Sportsbet's opinion acting together, who have placed bets containing the same selections, including where placed in a series of bets, at a range of prices, over a number of days using different betting accounts and/or across different betting channels. In such cases, the total payout across all bets/channels/accounts will not exceed the maximum payout limit of AUD$50,000 for Thoroughbreds and $25,000 for Greyhounds.
- Should a Member place a subsequent Same Race Multi Bet that reflects the initial Same Race Multi Bet and will result in the Member exceeding the $50,000 maximum payout limit for Thoroughbreds or $25,000 for Greyhounds, the additional Same Race Multi Bets will be void and wagers refunded.

7.8. Same Race Multi Bets cannot be Cashed Out.

7.9. In the event of a dead heat in one or more Same Race Multi legs, standard Dead Heat Rules apply.

7.10. Deductions will apply to Same Race Multi bets where scratching(s) occur after the bet has been placed. Deductions will not apply where scratching(s) occur before the Same Race Multi bet has been placed. For more information on Deductions please visit this Help Page: https://helpcentre.sportsbet.com.au/hc/en-us/articles/115007370608-What-are-Deductions-and-when-do-they-apply-

7.11. Sportsbet may, in its absolute discretion, change, suspend, restrict or cease to offer the Same Race Multi feature at any time and without providing a reason or advance notification, even where the Same Race Multi feature has previously been advertised to you as being available at a particular time or in connection with a particular event.
