The Android Application only supports Android operating systems 4.4 and above. If your device is not on 4.4 or above please go to www.sportsbet.com.au. The mobile website offers all the functionality of the app and works with all versions of Android operating systems.

To determine what version of Android is running on your device, select Apps > Settings > About phone or About tablet.


How to Update the Sportsbet App on your Android device:

  1. Access the Google Play Store on your Android device.
  2. Search “Sportsbet” and click “Update”. Otherwise click this link here
  3. Click “Open” to get started with your Sportsbet account.

Installation Help

The Sportsbet app requires Android 5.0 or above to run. Please ensure your Android version is up to date.

If you’re having trouble locating Sportsbet on Google Play, please check your country is set to Australia.

 

How do I enable auto-update?

Go to the Google Play store and click settings, then select ‘Auto-update apps’. This means that you’ll always be on the most up to date version of the Sportsbet app.

 

Why can’t I find the Sportsbet Android app in the Google Play store?

Sportsbet is only available on Google Play Australia. If you can’t see Sportsbet in your play store, this means you’re likely set up on international Google Play.

You can check your Google Play store country by following these instructions  https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/7431675?co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid&hl=en.

Alternatively, you can always login to Sportsbet.com.au using a browser on your mobile device.

To Download the Android Application on your Android Phones with an operating system 8 or above -

1. Click here to begin the download

2. Once the Download is complete click on the file to begin installation

3. You may be prompted to allow unknown sources, to do this click on Settings.

Why do I need to allow Unknown Sources?
The Google Play store doesn't allow content or services that offer online gambling. In order to download our application, Sportsbet makes it available to download directly from our website. Any application that isn't downloaded from the Google Play store is considered to be from an 'Unknown Source.'

4. Ensure that you allow Sportsbet as a source, then click the back arrow.

6. Lastly you will receive confirmation that the app update has been installed.

To make the process easier you can turn automatic updates on in your App store settings. This will mean that any new versions of apps that you currently have on your device will automatically download when they are available.

  1. Tap Settings  > iTunes & App Store.
  2. Turn on Updates to get Automatic Updates for apps.
  3. You can also turn Automatic Downloads on or off over your cellular network. To do this go to Settings >  iTunes & App Store and turn Use Cellular Data on or off. Cellular Data downloads are limited to a file size of 150 MB or smaller.
