In regard to players not taking to the ice, for settlement purposes players must receive time on ice per the governing body box score to be considered as action. If a player does not receive any time on the ice, then all bets on the player will be void.

Unfortunately, if the player does take to the ice and is active on the box score stats all bets on that player will stand.
