Line Betting places a point handicap on both teams with the intention of leveling the playing field. One team will receive a negative handicap and the other team will receive a positive handicap.

Once you apply the handicap to the relevant team’s score, and if your selected team is winning with the handicap applied to the final score, then your bet is a winner!

E.g. South Sydney Rabbitohs (-17.5) $1.90 vs St George Illawarra Dragons (+17.5) $1.90

Using the example of Rabbitohs vs Dragons you can see that the Rabbitohs have a handicap of -17.5 meaning they will have to win by 18 or more points. 

The Dragons on the other hand have a handicap of +17.5, meaning they can lose by no more than 17.
