Multi Bets (also known as All Ups, Parlays or Accumulators) allow you to combine up to 25 different individual bets into one single bet, with each individual bet being referred to as a leg.

When placing a multi bet you are able to select runners to either win, place and even select the each-way market. When selecting the each-way market, it is important to remember that prices can vary depending on whether the runner wins or places.

How to place a multi bet? Placing a Multi Bet is much like placing a regular bet. The major difference is putting multiple selections in your bet slip at one time, you do this by clicking each selection you are looking to combine. You can then go into your bet slip, scroll down to the Multi section and enter the stake you wish to place. Just like a normal bet, you will need to review and confirm your bet before it can be placed. You will then receive a bet receipt, confirming the bet has been placed successfully.

Each-way multi bets can be tricky to calculate the outcome, as they are calculated in the order of the time of the race, not the order you select in your bet slip. It is also dependent on what position your selection finishes in. Below is a breakdown of how to calculate an each-way multi.

$20 Each Way Multi – 3 legs:

• Leg A
  Stake: $20 ($10 for Win, $10 for Place.) Odds: Win=2.00, Place=1.50.
  If this Leg Wins, then you would calculate this Leg Payout as:
  Result: Win!
  Win portion: $10.00  x 2.00 = $20.00.
  Place portion: $10.00 x 1.50 = $15.00.
  The total payout for Leg A = $35.00.
• Leg B
  The payout of Leg A is the stake for Leg B and is split across both the Win and Place stakes for the next leg ($35.00 / 2 = $17.50).
  Stake: $17.50 per result, Odds: Win=3.00, Place=1.80.
  If this Leg Wins, then you would calculate this Leg Payout as:
  Result: Win!
  Win portion of B: $17.50 x 3.00 = $52.50.
  Place portion of B: $17.50 x 1.80 = $31.50.
  The total payout of Leg B = $84.00.
•  Leg C
  The payout of Leg B is the stake for Leg C and is split across both the Win and Place stakes for the next leg ($84.00 / 2 = $42.00).
  Stake: $42.00 per result, Odds: Win =11.60, Place=4.50.
  This leg has Placed, so only the Place odds are used in the calculation for the final Payout.
  Result: Place!
  Place portion: $42.00 x 4.50 = $189.
  Total Payout of Multi = $189.00.

This process repeats until all legs are finished. Your final payout is that of your final leg - in this example that would be $189.00
