How To Deposit Via PayID
PayID is a fast and secure way for you to deposit funds into your account. To generate your unique PayID, follow theses steps:
- From the Sportsbet home page, log in and navigate to your balance. Click on your balance then select Deposit.
- A range of deposit methods will be displayed. Click Add New.
- Click PayID. If you have not previously used PayID with Sportsbet, you’ll need to generate a unique PayID email address for your Sportsbet account, which will not change going forward.
- Click on Copy to copy your unique Sportsbet PayID.
- In a new window, log into your online banking, then look for and select Pay Anyone. Select PayID and from the multiple PayID options available, choose Email (this will vary depending on your bank. View your bank's specific PayID instructions here.)
- Paste the Sportsbet PayID email into the relevant field, followed by the amount you would like to deposit, then confirm.
- Funds are transferred instantly, however, first-time deposits may need to be verified by your bank and take a little more time (up to 24 hours).
Important! There can be some circumstances where you’ve made a transfer to your Sportsbet account via PayID, but the funds don’t arrive in your Sportsbet account immediately.
- Some banks may delay a transfer (usually up to 24 hours, depending on the bank) for first time PayID users, depositing over a certain amount. If the funds aren’t in your Sportsbet account instantly and haven’t been returned to your bank account, then your payment has likely been impacted. Please contact your bank for assistance.
- The PayID you're transferring funds to, may not be the PayID associated with your Sportsbet account. Confirm your PayID is correct by logging into your Sportsbet account and checking the PayIDs match. If you have made a payment to an incorrect PayID, unfortunately, Sportsbet will not be able to retrieve these funds and you will need to contact your bank.
- The deposit you may be attempting through PayID might take you over your deposit limit. If this happens the funds will be sent back to your bank account.
- The deposit you may be attempting is to a Sportsbet account that is closed, suspended, or on a break – in this case the deposited funds will bounce back to your bank account.
