Jet Boost: How It Works

Jet Boost is a promotion that eligible customers can apply to a qualifying Australian or New Zealand thoroughbred Racing Fixed Odds Single bet. Once your bet is placed, an interactive Jet Boost experience is triggered, where you'll see a jet pack launch into the sky. Tap to STOP before the jet pack runs out of fuel - the higher you fly, the more you could win in Bonus Bets.

If your bet wins, the boosted portion is paid out in Bonus Bets, on top of your standard cash winnings.

Jet Boost is available on Australian and New Zealand thoroughbred racing only - it can't be applied to greyhound or harness racing, or to international thoroughbred racing.

The Basics

What is Jet Boost?

Jet Boost is a promotion you can apply to an eligible Australian or New Zealand thoroughbred Racing Fixed Odds Single bet. After you place the bet, the Jet Boost experience launches - a jet pack rises into the sky, and you tap to STOP before it runs out of fuel. If your bet wins, the boosted portion is paid in Bonus Bets.

Which bets can I use Jet Boost on?

Jet Boost can only be applied to a qualifying Australian or New Zealand thoroughbred Racing Fixed Odds Single bet. It isn't available on greyhound or harness racing, international thoroughbred racing, or other bet types.

How do I use Jet Boost?

If you're eligible, Jet Boost appears on your betslip when you build a qualifying Australian or New Zealand thoroughbred Racing Fixed Odds Single. Place the bet as normal with Jet Boost attached, and the Jet Boost experience will launch automatically - tap to  STOP before your jetpack runs out of fuel, the higher you go, the more you could win in Bonus Bets.

Can I replay the Jet Boost experience?

No. Each Jet Boost is valid for one session only. Once the experience ends - for any reason - it can't be restarted or replayed.

Will I always get a boost from Jet Boost?

Yes. You'll always receive at least the minimum Jet Boost. If the experience is ever interrupted by something outside your control, the minimum boost is applied automatically, Your Bonus Bet will be applied if your bet wins.  

I have more than one Jet Boost - which one is used first?

You'll only ever see one Jet Boost on your betslip at a time. If you have more than one, the one with the earliest expiry date is shown first. Any additional Jet Boosts remain in your account and will appear once the first has been used, as long as they haven't expired.

What does "Pending" mean on my Jet Boost Bonus Bet?

"Pending" means your Jet Boost has been reserved but not yet finalised. It resolves automatically - either when your bet settles or when you refresh the page - so there's nothing you need to do.

What if something goes wrong during my Jet Boost experience?

Whatever happens - if the experience doesn't load, is interrupted, or closes early - you're always guaranteed at least the minimum Jet Boost, paid in Bonus Bets if your bet wins. If your Bonus Bet ever shows as "Pending", it will resolve automatically at settlement, and you don't need to do anything. If you think something isn't right, get in touch and we'll look into it for you.

Does leaving the app affect my experience?

Yes. While the Jet Boost experience is active, it needs to stay in the foreground to keep running. If you leave the app for too long, or move away from it more than once during the same session, the experience will end automatically and your minimum boost be applied. This helps keep the experience fair for everyone. Your minimum  boost is still paid in Bonus Bets if your bet wins.

Placing Your Bet

My bet failed or was declined. What happens to my Jet Boost?

If your bet isn't successfully placed, your Jet Boost stays active. You can re-attempt the bet with Jet Boost still available.

Settlement, Deductions and Cash Out

What happens to my Bonus Bet if a protest changes the result?

• A losing bet becomes a winning bet after a protest: You'll be credited the full Bonus amount based on your Jet Boost. Because this is credited after the protest is settled, please allow around 30–40 minutes for it to appear.
• A winning bet becomes a losing bet after a protest: You'll still be credited the full Bonus amount based on your Jet Boost, with no settlement delays.

There was a dead heat on my race. What happens to my Bonus Bet?

Your Bonus Bet is paid in full to your account. Standard dead-heat deductions still apply to your cash winnings.

My selection was scratched and my bet is now void. What happens to my Jet Boost?

If your bet is void or cancelled, the Jet Boost is forfeited and can't be re-credited, and no Bonus Bet is paid.

How do scratchings and deductions affect my Bonus Bet payout?

• Runner scratched before you place your bet: No deductions apply to your cash returns or Bonus Bet payout.
• Runner scratched after you place your bet: Standard deductions apply to both your cash returns and your Bonus Bet payout. The Bonus is repriced and reflected in My Bets.

What happens to my Jet Boost and Bonus Bet if I cash out?

If you cash out an eligible bet, no Bonus Bet is paid, and the Jet Boost is forfeited and can't be re-credited.
