MULTI MILLIONAIRE - PRODUCT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Multi Millionaire Terms and Conditions (‘Multi Millionaire Terms’) govern Sportsbet's Multi Millionaire product. They are to be read together with, and form part of, the Sportsbet Rules, Terms & Conditions ('General Rules'). Capitalised terms used but not defined in these Multi Millionaire Terms have the meaning given to them in the General Rules.

To the extent of any inconsistency between these Multi Millionaire Terms and the General Rules, these Multi Millionaire Terms will prevail in respect of the Multi Millionaire product only. Sportsbet may publish additional settlement information for a particular Round in a market blurb, and unless otherwise expressly stated, that blurb will prevail to the extent of any inconsistency with these Multi Millionaire Terms.

By placing a Multi Millionaire bet, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Product Terms and the General Rules

1.    Product Description

1.1    Multi Millionaire is a fixed odds mystery multi bet product.

1.2    Each Multi Millionaire bet:
(a)    costs $1; and
(b)    consists of a pre-constructed multi bet made up of a fixed number of Legs, as determined by Sportsbet for each Round.

1.3    Each Multi Millionaire bet is:
(a)    randomly generated by Sportsbet's systems;
(b)    unique for that Round; and
(c)    allocated at the time of purchase.

1.4    Members:
(a)    do not select the Legs, events, markets or outcomes; and
(b)    accept that the bet is presented as a complete multi at the time of placement.

1.5    For clarity:
(a)    each Multi Millionaire bet is a fixed odds bet placed on underlying sporting outcomes;
(b)    outcomes are determined solely by the settlement of the underlying markets in accordance with the official results of the relevant governing body.

1.6    To place a Multi Millionaire bet you must hold a verified Sportsbet Account, otherwise be eligible under the General Rules. Market availability may vary, and certain markets or the product itself may not be available to Members based on their location or applicable legal requirements.

2.    Bet Structure

2.1    Each Multi Millionaire bet is comprised of a defined number of Legs, derived from specific sporting or racing events and markets nominated by Sportsbet for that Round.

2.2    The events, periods and markets used to construct a Round are selected by Sportsbet and may vary from Round to Round (including the sports, competitions, fixtures, scoring periods and market types used). The applicable structure for a Round will be published in the product interface for that Round.

2.3    Where a Round is constructed using scoring periods within an event (for example, parts of a fixture), Sportsbet will set each market line so that, as far as reasonably practicable, the two possible outcomes of each Leg are as close to evenly matched as possible, so that each bet has a near-equal chance of winning regardless of the combination allocated.

2.4    The composition of Legs (including the Leg Order and the mapping of events, periods and markets to Legs) will be:
(a)    determined by Sportsbet prior to sale and fixed for that Round; and
(b)    made available to Members at or before the time of bet placement, through the product interface (including the "Multi Millionaire MyBets" section).

2.5    The Leg Order is the same for all Members and all bets in a given Round and is determined by Sportsbet in its absolute discretion. Because the Leg Order determines when a bet is Knocked Out and therefore its eligibility for any progress payout (see rule 5), the Leg Order is fixed at the time the Round is configured and is immutable for that Round (irrespective of when a Leg actually commences).

2.6    All Multi Millionaire bets are ‘all-in’ multis, meaning:
(a)    each Leg must be successful for the bet to remain active; and
(b)    where a Leg is unsuccessful, the bet is Knocked Out and settled in accordance with rule 5 (including any applicable progress payout).

3.    Purchase and Availability

3.1    Multi Millionaire bets are available for a defined sales period for each Round, as determined and published by Sportsbet.

3.2    Bets may be placed individually or in bundles as displayed in the product interface. Where multiple bets are placed, each bet is a separate $1 mystery bet with its own unique combination for that Round.

3.3    Sales for a Round will close at the earlier of:
(a)    the commencement of the first underlying event for that Round; or
(b)    when all available combinations for that Round are exhausted.

3.4    Sportsbet may:
(a)    limit the number of bets available;
(b)    restrict purchase quantities; or
(c)    refuse any bet.

3.5    Multi Millionaire bets are mystery bets and, once accepted, may not be changed or cancelled by the Member, except in accordance with the General Rules.

3.6    Multi Millionaire bets may only be placed using cash funds in a Member's Account.

4.    Allocation of Mystery Bets

4.1    Each Multi Millionaire bet is allocated randomly at the time of placement.

4.2    Each combination will only be issued once per Round, so that no two bets in a Round will share the same combination.

4.3    Members do not choose, and cannot influence, the combination allocated to a bet.

4.4    At the time a bet is placed, the Member will be shown the full details of the combination allocated to that bet, the outcomes required for that bet to win and the Leg Order, through the ‘View Your Bets’ section within ‘Multi Millionaire MyBets’.

4.5    Sportsbet does not guarantee:
(a)    the availability of any particular type of combination; or
(b)    that all possible combinations will be distributed in any Round.

4.6    Because each combination is unique and is issued only once per Round, the full winning combination for a Round is held by only one bet. If all available combinations for a Round are sold, one bet is guaranteed to win the full payout. If not all combinations are sold, it is possible that no bet will win the full payout for that Round. This rule is subject to rule 5.4.2 (Single winning bet; systems errors).

5.    Settlement and Payouts

5.1    General Settlement

5.1.1    All Legs are settled in accordance with the applicable Sports and Novelties Rules or Racing Terms and Conditions (as applicable).

5.1.2    Legs are resulted in the fixed sequential Leg Order.

5.1.3    If an event or game (or any part of it) is delayed, suspended, brought forward or otherwise does not commence, is not played, or is not completed at its officially scheduled time, this does not change the Leg Order or the order in which Legs are assessed for the purposes of the Knock-Out Mechanic. The Legs will not necessarily be commenced, played or completed in the Leg Order, but the assessment of Knock-Out and the determination of all payouts depends solely on the Leg Order. Where, due to a delay, an event or game (or any part of it) are actually played in a different order to the Leg Order, bets will continue to be resulted in the Leg Order, and affected bets will remain pending until the relevant event or period is played and resulted.

5.2    Knock-Out Mechanic

5.2.1    Multi Millionaire operates on a knock-out basis. A Multi Millionaire bet is ‘Knocked Out’ as soon as any one of its Legs is unsuccessful, assessed in the Leg Order. It only takes one unsuccessful Leg to Knock Out a bet.

5.2.2    Once Knocked Out:
(a)    the bet is no longer eligible to win the full payout for that Round; and
(b)    no subsequent Legs (in the Leg Order) are relevant for payout purposes.

5.2.3    A bet's eligibility for any payout is determined solely by the number of consecutive successful Legs it achieves, counted in the Leg Order starting from the first Leg (Leg 1), up to the point at which it is Knocked Out. For the avoidance of doubt, if the first Leg (Leg 1) is unsuccessful but all subsequent Legs would have been successful, the bet is treated as Knocked Out at Leg 1 and the Member will not be entitled to any progress payout in respect of that bet.

5.3    Progress payouts

5.3.1    Sportsbet may offer fixed progress payouts based on the number of consecutive successful Legs achieved, counted in the Leg Order starting from the first Leg (Leg 1) before a bet is Knocked Out.

5.3.2    Any such progress payout structure:
(a)    will be published in the relevant product interface; and
(b)    forms part of these Product Terms.

5.3.3    No entitlement to a progress payout arises outside the published progress payout thresholds.

5.3.4    Where the published progress payout structure provides amounts only at defined Leg thresholds, a bet that achieves a number of consecutive successful Legs (commencing at Leg 1) before being Knocked Out will be paid the amount applicable to the bet’s last successfully settled winning Leg.

5.4    Full Multi Outcome

5.4.1    If all Legs in a Multi Millionaire bet are successful, the bet will be settled at the applicable fixed full payout amount advertised for that Round. The full payout amount may change from Round to Round and will be published for each Round.

5.4.2    Single winning bet; systems errors. Each combination is unique and is intended to be allocated only once per Round, such that the full winning combination for a Round is held by only one bet. If, however, due to any system error, malfunction, data or processing error, duplication, or other technical or human error, a combination is allocated to, or a full winning result (or a progress payout entitlement) is recorded against, more than one bet, Sportsbet reserves the right, acting reasonably:

(a)    To, in circumstances where the Round has not yet commenced, determine which single bet is the valid bet in respect of the affected combination (for example, by reference to the first bet, in time, to which the combination was validly allocated and accepted), and to void any other duplicate, additional or erroneously allocated or recorded bets and refund the stakes on those voided bets;
(b)    to void any duplicate, additional or erroneously allocated or recorded bets and refund the stakes on those voided bets;
(c)    where more than one bet is determined to hold the full winning combination for a Round, to pay the full payout for that Round divided and split evenly between the holders of those winning bets (such that Sportsbet's aggregate liability for the full payout does not exceed the single advertised full payout amount for that Round); and/or
(d)    otherwise to void, adjust or re-settle the affected bets in accordance with rule 7 (Errors and Integrity).

5.4.3    Winnings will be credited to the Member's Account in accordance with the General Rules.

5.5    Results Changed After Settlement

5.5.1    Each Leg will be determined as successful or unsuccessful, and each bet will be settled, by reference to the official result standing at the end of the relevant event or period (as applicable to that Leg) at the time it is resulted.

5.5.2    Once a Leg has been resulted in accordance with rule 5.5.1, that result is final for the purposes of Multi Millionaire. Sportsbet will not re-settle, reverse, adjust or re-process any Leg, Knock-Out, progress payout or full payout on the basis of any subsequent change to a score or result, including where the relevant governing body or competition authority later corrects a score, amends a result, or declares a different result after the end of the relevant event or period.

5.5.3    For the avoidance of doubt, and without limitation, rule 5.5.2 applies regardless of when or why the score or result is changed (including official scoring corrections, protests, disqualifications, penalties, or other post-event adjustments), and applies even if the changed or corrected result would have caused a Leg to be determined differently, a bet to remain live, or a different bet to win the full payout or a progress payout.

5.5.4    Nothing in this rule 5.5 limits Sportsbet's rights under rule 6 (Void Events and Disruptions) or rule 7 (Errors and Integrity).

6.    Void Events and Disruptions

6.1    General Rule – all Legs must be played.

6.1.1    For a Round to progress and for the full payout to be capable of being won, every Leg in the Round must be played and officially resulted in accordance with these Multi Millionaire Terms. The ordinary treatment of a voided selection under the General Rules does not apply to a Leg in a Multi Millionaire bet.

6.1.2    If any Leg is voided (including where a selection would be void or refunded under the General Rules or the applicable specific sports rules), or where an event, game or period is not played and officially resulted on its originally scheduled day as required by rule 6.2, that Leg will be an Affected Leg, the Round will end from that Leg onwards (in the Leg Order), and payouts will be made in accordance with any settled Legs up to the last successfully resulted Leg in the Leg Order.

6.2    Events must be played on their scheduled day.

6.2.1    Each event or game selected for a Round must be played, and the relevant period(s) officially resulted, on the day on which that event or game was originally scheduled to be played (as at the date the Round opens for sale), determined by reference to the local time zone of the event or game.

6.2.2    If an event or game (or any relevant period of it) is not played and officially resulted on its originally scheduled day, that event or game (or any relevant period of it) will be void and the Legs associated with it will be void, even if the event or game is subsequently played, resumed, rescheduled or resulted on a later day. This applies however the disruption arises, including where an event or game is delayed, postponed, suspended, abandoned, brought forward, or otherwise not played to completion on its originally scheduled day.

6.2.3    A Leg that is void under rule 6.2.2 is an ‘Affected Leg’ for the purposes of this rule 6.

6.3    Effect of an Affected Leg – void from that Leg onwards.

6.3.1    At the time Sportsbet determined that a Leg in a Round is an Affected Leg, that Affected Leg and every Leg appearing after it in the Leg Order will be void, and the Round will be void from the Affected Leg onwards (in the Leg Order). Each bet will be treated as follows:

(a)    if no bet is yet eligible for a progress payout, any live bet (that is, a bet not yet Knocked Out) will be refunded its $1 stake;
(b)    if a bet is eligible for a progress payout at that time (having achieved sufficient consecutive successful Legs, counted in the Leg Order from Leg 1 up to but not including the Affected Leg), it will be paid the progress payout at the level designated by Sportsbet corresponding to that bet's last confirmed consecutive winning Leg that was fully resulted, and the remainder of the Round is void; and
(c)    any bet already Knocked Out at that time will not be refunded and will stand (with any progress payout already earned paid in accordance with these Multi Millionaire Terms). For the avoidance of doubt, no bet can win the full payout for a Round in which an Affected Leg has occurred, because at least one Leg of every combination cannot be resulted.

6.3.2    A determination under this rule 6.3 (including whether a Leg is void or is an Affected Leg) will be made by Sportsbet, acting reasonably and having regard to any official information, result or declaration published or made available by the relevant governing body or competition authority, including as to whether an event, game or period has been (or will be) played and resulted on its originally scheduled day.

6.4    Disruption Scenarios

For the avoidance of doubt, and subject always to rules 6.2 and 6.3:

6.4.1    Event cancelled, delayed or postponed before start. Where an underlying event is cancelled before it commences or is delayed or postponed such that it is not played and resulted on its originally scheduled day, the Legs associated with that event (and every subsequent Leg in the Leg Order) will be Affected Legs and treated under rule 6.3.

6.4.2    Event played on its scheduled day. Where an event is played and its relevant period(s) are officially resulted on its originally scheduled day, the associated Legs are resulted in the ordinary course, notwithstanding any delay to the start or any change in the order in which events or periods are actually played. The Leg Order remains fixed (see rules 2.5 and 5.1.3).

6.4.3    Event abandoned partway. Where an underlying event commences but is abandoned before completion, and the unresulted period(s) are not played and officially resulted on the originally scheduled day, the unresulted Legs associated with that event (and every subsequent Leg in the Leg Order) will be Affected Legs and treated under rule 6.3. Legs for periods completed and officially recognised on the scheduled day stand.

6.4.4    Delay mid-period. Where play stops mid-period but the period or event is nonetheless completed and officially resulted on its originally scheduled day, no void is triggered and bets continue to be resulted as normal. Where play stops mid-period and the period or event is delayed or cancelled such that it is not completed and resulted on its originally scheduled day:

(a)    any Leg whose outcome has, at the time of the delay or cancellation, already been unequivocally determined by the play that has taken place (such that the result of that Leg cannot change) will be resulted in the ordinary course, and bets will be settled as winners or losers on that Leg accordingly; and
(b)    every Leg whose outcome has not been unequivocally determined at that time, and every subsequent Leg in the Leg Order, will be an Affected Leg and treated under rule 6.3.

6.4.5    Team forfeit or withdrawal. Where a team forfeits or withdraws before or during an underlying event such that the relevant period(s) are not played and officially resulted on the originally scheduled day, the Legs associated with that event (and every subsequent Leg in the Leg Order) will be Affected Legs and treated under rule 6.3, regardless of whether the governing body declares an official result or allocates a score.

6.4.6    Event shortened by officials. Where officials shorten an event, Legs for periods that were officially completed and recognised by the governing body as resulted on the originally scheduled day are resulted as normal. Where a period is not played, or is only partially played and is not recognised by the governing body as played and resulted on the originally scheduled day, that Leg (and every subsequent Leg in the Leg Order) will be an Affected Leg and treated under rule 6.3.

Venue change. A change of venue alone does not cause a void, provided the event is still played and officially resulted on its originally scheduled day. Where a venue change is accompanied by the event not being played and resulted on its originally scheduled day (including a postponement or cancellation), the relevant rule above applies.

6.5    Round-Level Void

6.5.1    Without limiting rules 6.3 and 6.4, Sportsbet may declare an entire Round void where, in Sportsbet's reasonable opinion:

(a)    one or more events materially impact the integrity, fairness or structure of the product or the Round;

(b)    there has been, or Sportsbet has reasonable grounds to suspect (having regard to all the circumstances and information available at the relevant time) that there has been, any activity that jeopardises, or is designed to provide an unfair advantage in respect of, the fair and proper conduct of the Round, including:
(i)    any tampering with, or manipulation of, the product, the allocation of combinations, the markets, the results, or Sportsbet's (or its agents' or sub-contractors') systems;
(ii)    any collusion, fraud, or use of automated or other means to obtain an unfair advantage;
(iii)    any breach of these Multi Millionaire Terms or the General Rules; or
(iv)    any breach of any applicable law.

6.5.2    Where Sportsbet reasonably suspects conduct of the kind described in rule 6.5.1(b) in respect of one or more particular bets or Members, Sportsbet may (instead of, or in addition to, voiding the entire Round) void only the affected bets and take any further action available to it under rule 7 (Errors and Integrity) and the General Rules.

6.5.3    Where a full Round is declared void (as distinguished from part of a Round where all legs after the Affected Leg are declared void) all bets will be refunded their stake.

7.    Errors and Integrity

7.1    Sportsbet reserves the right, acting reasonably and in accordance with the General Rules, to:
(a)    correct any error in relation to Round configuration, pricing, combinations, allocation, settlement or availability; and
(b)    void or adjust any affected bets.

7.2    Without limitation, a bet or Round may be voided, adjusted or re-settled where:

(a)    a bet is placed or accepted in error, and satisfies the criteria at rule 1.11.10 of the General Rules;
(b)    a Round is configured with more or fewer Legs, periods or events than intended;
(c)    bet sales remain open in error after the first underlying event of a Round has commenced;
(d)    an event or period is incorrectly resulted (for example, a discrepancy between the actual official result and the result entered into Sportsbet's systems);
(e)    more than one bet is incorrectly determined or recorded as having won a payout in respect of a specific bet combination (whether due to a systems, data, processing or other error); or
(f)    a Member is paid an incorrect amount (whether too much or too little).

7.3    Where Sportsbet reasonably determines that a bet or combination has been placed or allocated as a result of fraud, collusion, system manipulation or other improper conduct, Sportsbet may void the affected bet and take any further action available under the General Rules.

7.4    Sportsbet may also, in accordance with the General Rules:
(a)    suspend or remove the product;
(b)    cancel a Round; or
(c)    withhold settlement pending investigation.

7.5    In the circumstances described in the General Rules relating to significant events (including events beyond Sportsbet's reasonable control that materially impact the relevant events), Sportsbet may, acting in good faith, void, cancel, restrict or otherwise adjust affected bets, including by applying a Void and Refund.

7.6    Sportsbet employees are not permitted to place any Multi Millionaire bets. Any Multi Millionaire bet placed by a team member will be void and the team member will not be eligible to receive any winnings or payout in connection with the Multi Millionaire product.

8.    Limits and Liability

8.1    Where a Multi Millionaire bet is successful on all of its Legs, the bet will be settled at the full fixed payout amount advertised for that Round. For the avoidance of doubt, the maximum payout limit (or maximum win limit) set out in the General Rules does not apply to, and will not reduce, the advertised full payout amount payable on an all-Legs winning Multi Millionaire bet. The full payout will be paid in full notwithstanding any general maximum payout limit in the General Rules.

8.2    To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sportsbet's aggregate liability in respect of the full payout for any Round will not exceed the single advertised full payout amount for that Round, regardless of the number of bets that may may (whether due to a systems or other error) appear to hold or be recorded against the full winning combination.

8.3    Statistics, scores and tracking information displayed in the product are provided as a guide only. To the extent permitted by law and consistent with the General Rules, Sportsbet is not liable, and a Member has no claim, in relation to any bet based on statistics or scores displayed in the product. All bets are settled in accordance with these Product Terms and the official results of the relevant governing body.

8.4    Sportsbet's liability is limited in accordance with the General Rules and, except where required by law, will not exceed the relevant bet value or applicable published payout (where applicable).

9.    Responsible Gambling

9.1    All responsible gambling tools and protections available under the General Rules (including deposit limits, breaks, time-outs and self-exclusion) apply to Multi Millionaire.
