Bet with Greats at Magic Millions

Bet with Greats at the Magic Millions held on 17 January 2026 Terms & Conditions

  1. At the Magic Millions held on 17 January 2026, Sportsbet will establish a Bet with Greats group for customers to join (Bet with Greats Group). The purpose of the Bet with Greats group is to share the excitement with our ambassadors and potential winnings among the group members.
  2. For the purposes of these T&Cs, Event means the series of races scheduled as the Magic Millions Raceday at the Gold Coast Turf Club on 17 January 2026 that are covered by a Bet With Greats Group.
  3. The Bet with Greats will be facilitated on Sportsbet’s Bet With Mates platform and hosted by a Sportsbet nominated ambassador (Host).
    1. The Host is appointed by Sportsbet to place all bets on behalf of the Bet with Greats Group.
    2. The Host operates autonomously and has not been instructed or influenced by Sportsbet regarding which bets to place.
    3. The Host does not receive any commission, bonus, or other financial incentives based on the outcome of the bets placed, other than their equal share of the amount of funds within the Bet With Greats Group, and dividends which are paid equally amongst all Members (including the Host).
    4. The Host will pay for the Buy-in with their own funds.
  4. All Bet With Greats Groups are governed by the Sportsbet Rules, Terms and Conditions (Rules), Sportsbet’s Bet With Mates Terms and Conditions, Sportsbet Feed Terms & Conditions and these Terms and Conditions.
  5. Bet With Greats is only available to customers with a valid Sportsbet account and Feed profile. Certain Bet With Greats Groups may only be available to select customers at Sportsbet’s discretion.

 Eligibility requirements

  1. To join a Bet With Greats Group, customers must:
    1. first click into Bet with Mates and enter the code provided by the Host by direct communication;
    2. create a Sportsbet Feed profile (if the customer does not already have one); and
    3. transfer the nominated Buy-In into the Bet With Greats Group.
  2. While Sportsbet provides the platform to facilitate group betting, an individual is not obliged to join a Bet With Greats Group and/or sign up to Sportsbet.
  3. Members may join the Bet With Greats Group any time prior to the Host closing the Bet With Greats Group (typically prior to the first race of the Event commencing) unless Bet With Greats Group capacity is reached before this time.
  4. Members agree that any Bet With Greats group joined will only remain operational until the completion of the final race in the Event.

 Members

  1. Each Member is entitled to an equal share of the amount of funds within the Bet With Greats Group (including any winnings generated from pending bets).
  2. Members will not be able to place a bet, Top Up or do any other act in connection with their participation in the Bet With Greats Group.
  3. Funds added to the Bet With Greats Group by a Member will count towards any deposit limits on their personal Sportsbet account.
  4. Sportsbet employees are not permitted to join a Bet With Greats Group. The only exception is for administrative members who are responsible for setting up the Bet With Greats Group and monitoring bets placed.

 Exiting the Group

  1. Members can exit the Bet With Greats Group at any time for any reason.
  2. If a Member exits the Bet With Greats Group, they acknowledge and accept that they will no longer be able to:
    1. participate in the Bet With Greats Group or view any of their previous activity within the Bet With Greats Group (including bet and transaction history); or
    2. view any future transactions or bets the Host decides to make in the Bet With Greats Group.
  3. If a Member exits the Bet With Greats Group, they are entitled to an equal share of the funds within the Bet With Greats Group prior to exiting the Bet With Greats Group (including any winnings generated from pending bets placed prior to exiting the Bet With Greats Group).  Funds will be returned to the Member’s Sportsbet account. Any portion of the returned funds that was not turned over within the Bet With Greats Group will keep the same status it had when transferred into the group (for example, withdrawable or non-withdrawable).
  4. Upon any break or exclusion (as described in the Rules - See Rule 1.14) being applied to a Member’s personal Sportsbet account, the Member will automatically exit the Bet With Greats Group and will be entitled to an equal share of the amount of funds within the Bet With Greats Group prior to exiting the Bet With Greats Group (including any winnings generated from pending bets placed prior to exiting the Bet With Greats Group). Funds will be returned to the Member’s Sportsbet account. Any portion of the returned funds that was not turned over within the Bet With Greats Group will keep the same status it had when transferred into the group (for example, withdrawable or non-withdrawable).

 Betting Rules                       

  1. All bets in the Bet With Greats Group must be placed by the Host. The Host will have full discretion as to betting decisions including with respect to stake value, bet selection, Cash Out, promotions and generosity use.
  2. Each Member owns an equal share in all bets placed on behalf of the Bet With Greats Group.
  3. Sportsbet’s normal bet cancellation policy applies to the Bet With Greats Group (as described in the Rules - See Rule 1.11.10).
  4. Subject to the settlement rules in relation to each specific bet, all bets placed by the Host will stand. A Member may not request to cancel a bet made by the Host.
  5. Live Betting and Betting-In-Run (Racing) is unavailable for Bet With Greats Groups.
  6. If Cash Out is available, it may be performed by the Host only.

 Bet With Mates Community Guidelines

  1. There will be no chat functionality within any Bet With Greats Group. Members will not be able to send or receive messages within the Group.
  2. All Member usernames must not include any personal information and must adhere to the guidelines set out in rule 3.4 of the Sportsbet Feed Terms & Conditions.nbsp;
  3. Usernames contrary to the requirement set out at rule 25 above may result in the Member being removed from the Bet With Greats Group, at Sportsbet’s discretion.

Dispute Resolution

  1. Any Dispute which may arise in relation to a bet placed by a Bet With Greats Group will be handled in accordance with Rule 1.15 of Sportsbet’s General Rules, Terms and Conditions (‘Dispute Resolution’).

Group Limits

  1. A Bet With Greats Group may not consist of more than one thousand (1000) Members (including the Host). The Bet With Greats Groups will be available on a ‘first in first served’ basis and will cut off when all available places have been filled or the relevant time described above at rule 8 above passes, whichever occurs first.

Reservation of Rights

  1. Sportsbet reserves the right to remove Members from a Bet With Greats Group at any time for any reason without notice or explanation.
  2. Sportsbet reserves the right to close any Bet With Greats Group at any time for any reason without notice or explanation.
  3. Sportsbet reserves the right to prohibit an individual from joining or participating in a Bet With Greats Group any time for any reason without notice or explanation.
  4. Sportsbet reserves the right to refuse any bet (or part of a bet) of a Bet With Greats Group at any time for any reason without notice or explanation.
  5. Sportsbet reserves the right to share a Bet With Greats Group name and activity for marketing purposes.
  6. An individual’s ability to join a Bet With Greats Group is not guaranteed and will depend upon any relevant Sportsbet account restrictions that may apply and the availability of places in the Bet With Greats Group.

Privacy

  1. Members acknowledge that by joining the Bet With Greats Group, certain information including the Member’s username will be visible to all other Members of the Bet With Greats Group.
  2. Sportsbet cannot provide information about other Member's personal Sportsbet accounts.
  3. Sportsbet cannot provide information about any activity of a Bet With Greats Group after a Member has exited the Bet With Greats Group.
  4. Sportsbet will otherwise operate and manage the Bet with Greats product (using the Bet With Mates platform) in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

Defined Terms

  1. Capitalised terms used in these Terms and Conditions have the meaning given to them in the Rules unless otherwise defined below:
    1.  
      • Buy-In means the amount each Member must contribute to join the Bet With Greats Group. The Buy-In is determined by Sportsbet and the Host in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
      • Member means any person who becomes a member of a Bet With Greats Group, including Members, administration staff and the Host.
      • Bet With Greats Group means the social betting group created by the Host and facilitated on Sportsbet’s Bet With Mates platform and hosted by a Sportsbet nominated Host.

Host Dividend

  1. As the Host will pay for their own Buy-in with their own funds, and each Member is entitled to an equal share of the amount of funds within the Bet With Greats Group, the Host will be paid any dividends consistent with dividends paid to all Members. The Host’s share of the Bet With Greats Group funds and any dividends paid to the Host upon the closure of the Bet With Greats Group will be distributed to the Host’s personal Sportsbet account.
