The Game Plan

We’re here to make punting social, fair and fun. A place where you can engage with fellow punters, have a bit of banter, and hopefully tip yourself and others into a few winners.

But we do have a few rules you’ll need to follow. And if you don’t, you’ll have to ‘tell ya story walking’ all the way back to the sheds.

So, here’s a few rules before kick-off:

• Banter is always welcome: cheering on your fellow tipsters and having a cheeky dig here and there is play on. But threats, hate speech, harassment, intimidation and violence and you’ll be in the bin.
• Debate the play, not the punter: punters don’t control the game, so don’t blame them if a bet doesn’t swing your way.
• Keep it in the game: keep your chat on the field. Taking it off platform and personal is just grubby behaviour.
• Play eyes up: if something looks like a dodgy play, report it to our refs and we’ll review.
• Stay on task: keep the chat SB focussed and no dodgy deals (offside promos and rival plays).
• No sideline sales: save the ads, affiliate links and “paid tips” for elsewhere
• Jersey check: Don’t pretend to be Sportsbet staff, athletes, coaches or other punters. Impersonation is a professional foul.
• Share only what’s yours to share: post content you created or have permission to use

Play Safe

Having a punt should be full of fun, not full of worry. If your post looks like it’s a risky delivery, we might pull it down. If someone seems to be struggling, we’ll reach out with support.

Reporting & Enforcement

We’re the refs here—and we’ve got a video assistant referee. We can remove or block content (even in private chats) if it’s dodgy play. We take this as serious as a first-grade coach does finals series, so make sure you adhere to the call otherwise you won’t get the tribunal hearing, you’ll be banned from the game.

How to report 

• Tap the report button in the app (via post/menu). 
• Add context if you’ve got it—we’ll take a look. 

Our Commitment 

• Review every report within 48 hours 
• Protect you from harassment and dodgy content 
• Give you space to create great stuff 
• Listen when you say something’s not working
• While we won’t always provide you with the outcome, rest assured appropriate action will be taken

For Emergencies 

If someone’s in real danger, call 000 first. Then report it to us. 

Appeals & Feedback

Think the refs made the wrong call? Appeal within 30 days via the app support channel. 
We’ll let you know what happened and how to avoid another penalty.

Change is good

Like all games, rules continue to evolve. We’ll update these guidelines as new features roll out—media uploads, new chat tools, etc. We’ll timestamp changes, so you know what’s current.
