What is Google Pay?
Google Pay is a simple, safe, and fast way to deposit into your Sportsbet Account. It is only supported by Android devices on version 9.0 or higher that have NFC technology. You will be required to add a debit card to your Google Wallet in order to use Google Pay – For info on how to add a debit card to your Google Wallet, click the link here for more details from Google Support.
Google Pay is not available as a method of payment using a credit card.
How do I deposit with Google Pay?
Google Pay is not available to use via the Sportsbet website experience, only on the Android app (downloaded via the Play Store). You must already have a debit card added to your wallet
Below are step-by-step instructions on how to deposit via Google Pay.
- While on the Sportsbet home page, click on your balance then click on Deposit.
- Click on the Google Pay option, enter the deposit amount, and click deposit now.
- You will then be required to authenticate the Google Pay deposit. Once you have done so, your funds will be instantly deposited into your account.
Why can't I see Google Pay as a deposit method?
If you are unable to view Google Pay on the Sportsbet App, it may be because you have not installed the Google Wallet App or have no cards added to your wallet. When you add a debit card to your wallet, you should be able to see & use Google Pay.
Please ensure you have:
- The Google Wallet App installed (from Play Store) on your Android device
- Logged in into the Wallet App with your Gmail account
- In your Gmail account the option “Share that you have Google Pay with companies outside Google” is turned ON (https://payments.google.com/gp/w/home/settings)
- At least one eligible card saved into the Wallet App
If you have done all of the above and Google Pay is still not showing as a deposit method, please try adding another card or check with your banking provider that your card is able to be used with Sportsbet via Google Pay.
