Punters Club Terms & Conditions

1. At selected live sports and racings events, Sportsbet will establish a Punters Club for attendees to join (Punters Club Group). The purpose of the Punters Club Group is to share the excitement and potential winnings among the group members.
2. The Punters Club will be facilitated on Sportsbet’s Bet With Mates platform and hosted by a Sportsbet nominated host (Host).
   1. The Host is appointed by Sportsbet to place all bets on behalf of the Punters Club.
   2. The Host operates autonomously and has not been instructed or influenced by Sportsbet regarding which bets to place.
   3. The Host does not receive any commission, bonus, or other financial incentives based on the outcome of the bets placed.
   4. Sportsbet will pay the Buy-In for the Host.
3. All Punters Club Groups are governed by the Sportsbet Rules, Terms and Conditions (Rules), Sportsbet’s Bet With Mates Terms and Conditions and these Terms and Conditions.
4. Punters Club and Bet With Mates is only available to customers with a valid Sportsbet account.

 Eligibility requirements

1. To join the Punters Club, attendees must scan the QR codes available around the sports or racing venue and transfer the nominated Buy-In into the Punters Club Group.
2. The QR code is strictly for attendees only and must not be shared with non-attendees.
3. While Sportsbet provides the platform to facilitate group betting, an individual is not obliged to join a Punters Club Group and/or sign up to Sportsbet.
4. Members may join the Punters Club Group any time before 1pm AEDT 21/12//24 unless Punters Club capacity is reached before this time.
5. Members agree that any Punters Club Group joined will only remain operational until the 6pm AEDT 21/12//24.

 Members

1. Each Member is entitled to an equal share of the amount of funds within the Punters Club Group (including any winnings generated from pending bets).
2. Members are not obliged to bet, Top Up or do any other act in connection with their participation in the Punters Club Group.
3. Funds added to the Punters Club Group by a Member will count towards any deposit limits on their personal Sportsbet account.
4. Sportsbet employees are not permitted to join the Punters Club Group. The only exception is for administrative members who are responsible for setting up the Punters Club Group and monitoring bets placed and the group chat.

 Exiting the Group

1. Members can exit the Punters Club Group at any time for any reason.
2. If a Member exits the Punters Club Group, they acknowledge and accept that they will no longer be able to:
   1. 1. participate in the Punters Club Group or view any of their previous activity within the Punters Club Group (including bet and transaction history); or
      2. view any future transactions or bets the group decides to make.
3. If a Member exits the Punters Club Group, they are entitled to an equal share of the amount of funds within the Punters Club Group prior to exiting the Punters Club Group (including any winnings generated from pending bets) with the funds returned to their Sportsbet account (with any portion of the returned funds not turned over within the Punters Club Group maintaining the status applicable to them upon being transferred into the Punters Club Group (i.e., withdrawable or non-withdrawable, as applicable)).
4. Upon any break or exclusion (as described in the Rules - See Rule 1.14) being applied to a Member’s personal Sportsbet account, they will automatically exit the Punters Club Group and are entitled to an equal share of the amount of funds within the Punters Club Group prior to exiting the Punters Club Group (including any winnings generated from pending bets) with the funds returned to their Sportsbet account (with any portion of the returned funds not turned over within the Punters Club Group maintaining the status applicable to them upon being transferred into the Group (ie, withdrawable or non-withdrawable)).

 Betting Rules

1. 1. 1. All bets in the Punters Club Group must be placed by the Host. The Host will have full discretion as to betting decisions including with respect to stake value, bet selection, Cash Out, promotions and generosity use.
      2. Any bets placed by any other Members will be voided, irrespective of whether that bet wins or loses.
      3. Each Member owns an equal share in all bets placed on behalf of the Punters Club Group.
      4. Sportsbet’s normal bet cancellation policy applies to Punters Club Groups (See Rule 1.11.10).
      5. All bets placed by the Host will stand. A Member may not request to cancel a bet made by the Host.
      6. Live Betting and Betting-In-Run (Racing) is unavailable for Punters Club Groups.
      7. If Cash Out is available, it may be performed by the Host only

 Bet With Mates Chat Rules & Community Guidelines

1. Members are encouraged to share betting tips and insights through the chat function.
   
   
2. All chat interactions must adhere to the below community guidelines. Content that Sportsbet will not allow on platform and therefore will result in the comment or post being removed include, but are not limited, to the following, and Sportsbet retains absolute discretion to remove or limit any Member and their chat interactions:

Violence and criminal behaviour

• Violence & Incitement
• Dangerous individuals and organisations
• Coordinating harm and promoting crime
• Restricted good and service
• Fraud and deception

Safety

• Suicide and self-injury
• Child sexual exploitation and abuse
• Adult sexual exploitation and abuse
• Bullying and harassment
• Human exploitation
• Privacy Violations

Objectionable Content

• Any content that would be considered offensive by the general community.  This includes, but is not limited to:  racisim, sexism, sexual content and offensive language.
• Hate speech
• Violent and graphic content
• Sexual solicitation

Integrity and authenticity

• Spam
• Cybersecurity
• Misinformation

(together, the ‘Community Guidelines’)

1. Sportsbet staff may be monitoring any messages posted in the Punters Club Group chat and Sportsbet reserves the right to remove any Member from the Punters Club Group for any breaches of the Community Guidelines in the chat.
2. Customers should not publish any personal information (as defined by the Privacy Act 1988)such as email address, date of birth, last name, first name, address, phone number, credit card credentials etc. in the chat function. Sportsbet have the ability to mask credit card numbers that are shared in the Bet With Mates Chat function.

Dispute Resolution

1. Any Dispute which may arise in relation to a bet placed by a Punters Club Group will be handled in accordance with Rule 1.14 of Sportsbet’s General Rules, Terms and Conditions (‘Dispute Resolution’).

Group Limits

1. An individual may not participate in more than five (5) Bet With Mates groups at a time.
2. An individual may not create and/or join more than three (3) Bet With Mates groups per day.
3. A Punters Club Group may not consist of more than one hundred (100) Members (including the Admin). The Punters Club Groups will be available on a ‘first in first served’ basis and will cut off when all available places have been filled or the relevant time described above at Clause 9, whichever occurs first.

Reservation of Rights

1. Sportsbet reserves the right to remove Members from a Punters Club Group at any time for any reason without notice or explanation.
2. Sportsbet reserves the right to close any Punters Club Group at any time for any reason without notice or explanation.
3. Sportsbet reserves the right to prohibit an individual from joining or participating in a Punters Club Group any time for any reason without notice or explanation.
4. Sportsbet reserves the right to refuse any bet (or part of a bet) of a Punters Club Group at any time for any reason without notice or explanation.
5. Sportsbet reserves the right to share a Punters Club Group name and activity for marketing purposes.
6. An individual’s ability to join a Punters Club Group is not guaranteed and will depend upon any relevant Sportsbet account restrictions that may apply and the availability of places in the Punters Club Group.

Privacy

1. Members acknowledge that by joining the Punters Club Group, certain information including the Member’s username will be visible to all other Members of the Punters Club Group.
2. Sportsbet cannot provide information about other Member's personal Sportsbet accounts.
3. Sportsbet cannot provide information about any activity of a Punters Club Group after a Member has exited the Punters Club Group.
4. Sportsbet will otherwise operate and manage the Bet With Mates product in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

Defined Terms

1. Capitalised terms used in these Terms and Conditions have the meaning given to them in the Rules unless otherwise defined below:
   • Buy-In means the amount each Member must contribute to join the Punters Club Group. The Buy-In is determined by Sportsbet and the Host in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
   • Member means any person who becomes a member of a Punters Club Group, including Members, administration staff and the Host.
   • Punters Club Group means the social betting group created by Sportsbet and facilitated on Sportsbet’s Bet With Mates platform and hosted by a Sportsbet nominated host.

Host Dividend

1. Acknowledging that each Member is entitled to an equal share of the amount of funds within the Punters Club Group, and dividends are paid equally amongst all Members (including the Host), the Host’s share of the Punters Club Group funds and any dividends paid to the Host upon the closure of the Punters Club Group will be donated to a charity of Sportsbet’s choice.
