- How does AFLX work?
AFLX is a variation of AFL rules preseason tournament played over three days.
The tournament is played over three days in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. Each day is a different group of teams and a separate tournament. The winner of each group grand final is deemed the final winner – yes that means three separate grand finals!
What makes AFLX different than AFL?
- Rectangular field (like a soccer pitch)
- Seven players on a team
- Two 10 minute halves
- Supergoals (a goal kicked from outside the 40m mark)
